1-1-1 The Appeal of VR Fitness

VR Fitness After 60! VR Fitness

I started VR fitness at the age of sixty — and it completely changed the way I think about exercise.

When people hear the word fitness, they often imagine running, going to the gym, or doing difficult exercises.

To be honest, I had never enjoyed sports when I was younger.
Even walking for exercise felt like a chore.

Exercise without feeling like exercise

VR fitness allows you to exercise while playing games in a virtual reality environment.
By wearing a VR headset and moving your body according to the game, you can enjoy a workout without feeling like you are “doing exercise.”

This is the biggest attraction of VR fitness.

You swing your arms, dodge obstacles, squat, and move your whole body while focusing on the game.
Before you notice it, you are sweating and your heart rate is up.

In other words, you are exercising while having fun.

One day, while watching me play in VR, my cat looked puzzled.

So… you’re saying video games can make humans healthy?

Surprisingly, yes!

For someone like me who was never good at sports, this was a revolutionary experience.

You can exercise at home

Another great advantage of VR fitness is that you can do it at home.

You don’t need to go to the gym or worry about the weather.
Even a small space in your room is enough to start.

This makes it very easy to continue.

For many people, the hardest part of exercise is not the workout itself, but continuing it.

VR fitness removes many of those obstacles.

My cat seems to like this idea too.

So you don’t have to go outside in the rain?

Exactly. And I can exercise anytime.

Suitable for beginners and seniors

Many VR fitness apps allow you to choose the difficulty level.

This means beginners can start slowly and increase the intensity gradually as their fitness improves.

Even seniors like me can enjoy VR fitness safely.

In fact, I started VR fitness at the age of sixty, and it has now become part of my daily routine.

My cat still watches me sometimes.

You’re still doing that every day?

Yes. And I’m actually enjoying it.

A new way to stay healthy

VR technology has opened up a completely new way to stay active.

Instead of forcing yourself to exercise, you can simply enjoy playing games while moving your body.

For me, VR fitness has become more than just exercise.
It is something I truly enjoy doing every day.

My cat seems to have the final opinion.

If humans can stay healthy by playing games… maybe that’s not such a strange idea after all.

If you are interested in staying active but don’t enjoy traditional workouts, I highly recommend giving VR fitness a try.
